Pug Puppies Photo Gallery | The Pug is a breed of dog with a wrinkled face, short muzzled and curly tail. The breed has a fine, glossy coat that comes in a variety of colors, usually tan or black, and a compact square body with well-developed muscles.

Pugs were brought from China to Europe in the sixteenth century and was popularized in Western Europe by the House of Orange of the Netherlands and the House of Stuart. Pugs that livestock may have contributed to the English Bulldog, the modern Pekingese and King Charles Spaniel.

Pugs are still popular in the twenty-first century, with some owners of celebrities. A pug was judged Best in Show at the World Expo in 2004.
